I specialize in altering ready-made formal wear and if you can't find what you like from a store/online, I create one-off formal dresses and accessories for any Special Occasion in life.

Alterations require in person fittings at 44 Skyview Drive, Lenhartsville, PA 19534 (3 miles outside of Kutztown off of route 737)

Payment can be made by check, cash, or all major credit cards via PayPal.

6% PA sales tax will be charged on formal wear alterations and creations.

Alterations must be paid for in full before any dress leaves my shop.

First Fitting At the first fitting, you will be pinned in your dress and I will make a note of everything that needs to be done to your dress so it is altered to perfection. (If hem only, skip to Pick up Date below)

Second Fitting At this fitting, your dress alteration will have been basted. In order for this to happen, certain seams need to be open. These seams will remain open until you are satisfied with the fit. Your hem length will be measured at this fitting since alterations can change the length. If a substantial amount needs to be cut from your hem, I may cut some off and measure your final hem at next fitting.

Final Fitting This fitting will be a final check up to make sure everything is going as planned with your alterations so we can make our final changes (if needed) and close up all the seams so your dress will be ready for pickup.

Pickup Date Alterations will be finished. I will have you try on your dress one last time to make sure that it is absolutely perfect. To each fitting, bring the shoes and undergarments that you wear with the article being altered.

Pricing and completion time are determined on design details, pattern development and fitting issues, fabrics and trims, and anticipated sewing time.
